Please Get Involved
To our knowledge no other country has ever focused on creating a dynamic learning culture in context of the systems which underpin its society. It is a ridiculously ambitious objective.
On the other hand we could make such a massive long term difference.
Needless to say we will all have to work together. In fact the success of the initiative will be function of how well this initiative can bring on board all those willing to contribute. The aim is to create a bow wave of positive change.
So we ask that you “get involved”
How we get everybody involved. is in the process of development, so if you have any ideas, please make them known.
The only criteria we state are that:
You are prepared to identify your underpinning assumptions (theories) and challenge them in light of modern research
Are committed to improving the systems that characterise Scottish Society.
At present we are looking for:
Hosts for the Thought Leading Dinners
We require a broad range of hosts who will invite a group of 8-10 people to a dinner/buffet or even just drinks – to listen to an international presentation (via a video link) and then be prepared to discuss the implications of what is being said. – See the file Thought Leading Dinners
We would, also, welcome suggestions as to who we should be inviting to give key presentations
This site and the Book
We want to populate this site with case studies, thoughts, stories, articles etc etc. So please do submit a contribution.
In particular we are looking for stories of positive initiatives and any examples of gross waste generated by the systems operating in Scotland.
Services
In time organisations will be seeking assistance to convert the new thinking into positive action.
If you yourself, or you know of another organisation, who can provide a service we would be delighted to provide details on this web site.
Spreading the word
Please help this initiative get to as many people in Scotland as possible – please spread the word.
Administration
At this point in time the administration is working through just one or two people. We of course need to expand this considerable. Again if you wish involved please contact us. See business plan
Funding
If you are aware of a source of funding that we could approach for support – again please contact us.
Suggestions
Please take ownership of this initiative. Please make your views and contribution felt.
